DAW
ProTools
User of ProTools for 2 years working with ProTools 10, 11 and ProTools HD. ProTools is the main DAW I use for editing waveforms, mixing and mastering tracks. Trained on ProTools by a certified expert following the guidence of ProTools 101-210.

Ableton
I have just recently got into using Ableton as a DAW experamenting with electronic music. I have composed my own peices on Ableton using samples, recorded MIDI and own recorded material. I also often use Ableton for instrument purposes via re-wire through ProTools to get the power of both DAW's.
I have been able to use the digital audio theory that I have learned to my advantage when it comes to electronic music production. I tend to mess around with samples by stretching them out and chopping them up so much I tend to use higher sample rates to keep hold of the integrity of a sample. I also have knowlege of envelopes and filters that help me acheive the sound that I want.
I have in depth knowlege of the A/D and D/A processes that help me with signal flow inside and outside the box to help with solving issues in regards to digital and analogue conversion.
Logic
I have used Logic for adding audio and music to a short film. The film consists of originally composed music, self recorded folly and pre recorded samples.
All editing of tracks and processing was performed within Logic, using Logic plugins and lots and lots of automation!
